Reformerpilates

Pilates (pronounced '"pa law teez"), is a body conditioning practice for all bodies and fitness levels that seeks to build flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination.  Pilates increases circulation and helps to sculpt the body and strengthen the core. There are several ways to perform Pilates exercises and all of these methods are taught in various classes offered at The Women's Club.

Mat Exercises, which require only a floor mat and instructor are offered in our group exercise room.  These exercises are designed so that your body uses its own weight as resistance.  The "Back to Basic" mat class is designed for the new participant.

The Reformer method of Pilates is taught in the Pilates Studio with the use of reformers and other equipment.  We offer a complimentary "Intro" class that covers equipment set-up, safe body placement and foot and hand positions.  Reformer classes are designed to tone and strengthen the body.

Mix up your Pilates workouts using the Tower for Power. Using spring resistance the focus is on spinal movement in all planes and building strength while giving the total body a challenging workout!

The Women's Club has a fully equipped Pilates Studio with towers on all of our reformers, as well as a spine corrector, ladder barrel, chair and Cadillac. Hourly private sessions are available as well as semi-private sessions. Call today 728-4410 and schedule as session with one of our certified Pilates instructors or sign up for a class.
