kate jacksonKate is a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor of Mat and Reformer.  Her first experience with Pilates was during a dance class at the University of Montana, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies.  She found that Pilates made a significant difference in her personal approach to health and fitness.  Kate's passion for Pilates has led her to becoming an instructor, through which, she can share the benefits and her love of Pilates with others.

Kate is currently teaching reformer classes on Wednesday mornings and Thursday afternoons at The Women's Club. She offers a Fundamental Reformer class on Thursday's at 5:30.  During the course of this four-week session Kate teaches the beginning fundamentals of reformer Pilates.  Once completed, most participants will feel comfortable joining "all levels" classes.  Kate is also available to teach private and semi-private mat and reformer classes.

 

alison laundrieAlison recently moved to Missoula from New York City. As a teenager Alison danced with the Wisconsin ballet Theater where she was first exposed to the Pilates method. She received her Bachelor of FIne Arts in dance from the University of Wisconsin-Steven Point. She freelanced in the theater arts world as a dancer, teacher, and choreographer and actors movement coach. She received her Pilates certification from the Physical Mind Institute affiliate in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Alison began teaching Mat and Reformer/Tower classes at The Women's Club in September, 2008. She is also available to teach private and semi-private mat and reformer classes.

 

 


Erika is a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor of Mat and Reformer. She is also fully trained in Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels. Erika offers an Intermediate and Advanced Reformer progressive six week class on Monday mornings at 9:30 as well as a "Tower for Power" class at 9:30 on Friday mornings. Erika is also available for private and semi-private sessions.

 

 

 

Linda ParkerLinda is a native of Missoula. She began studying dance at the age of eight and attended the University of Utah's Ballet Department. She received her Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Hawaii-Manoa's Department of Drama/Theatre and Dance. Linda danced professionally for eight years with the Repertory Dance Theatre; touring nationally and internationally. She is currently an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Montana's Dance Department. She teaches Ballet, Modern and Pilates.

Linda helped The Women's Club establish their Pilates program years ago. She currently teaches University of Montana Health and Human Performance reformer classes as well as a Friday morning 10:05 mat class at The Women's Club.

 

 

 

Erin WhippErin moved to Missoula from Colorado and earned a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from the University of Montana. She has been at The Women's Club for three years and also works at the front desk. She developed a passion for Pilates five years ago while searching for a remedy for back pain, and has since become a certified STOTT instructor of Mat and Reformer.

Erin loves spending time hiking and cross country skiing with her boyfriend and dogs. She has discovered that the strength and grace developed through the practice of Pilates has greatly enhanced all other areas of her life. Erin teaches a "Keeping it Simple" class on Wednesday evenings at 6:00. She is also available to teach private and semi-private mat and reformer classes
