Eighteen years of Taekwondo have increased my confidence, assertiveness and self-awareness. In addition to sharing this confidence with my kids, spreading these qualities to all age groups has been especially rewarding. Weightlifting is also a passion of mine, and I can’t stress enough the importance of strength training as we grow older. My major accomplishment is my family. I’ve been married for 26 years and have three grown children.

I spend most of my time researching and learning about health and fitness. I am always experimenting and not afraid to try new things. It is such a great feeling to accomplish goals and feel yourself getting stronger. I want to show people that they are strong and they can do things that they thought were not possible.
