Instructor Katie demonstrates a common move that you’re always going to see in our Les Mills BODYCOMBAT classes.
Start in combat stance. How do you do that? Make an “L” shape with your feet, and shimmy out your stance a little wider. Then, turn your back foot at a 45 degree angle. With arms and hands up into a boxing guard, your leading arm is your “jab,” and your rear arm is your “cross.” Notice how your rear foot raises as your torso twists from the back. Now you’re using all of your core muscles!
